Interesting post over at Trump University today about going 1% further. I like it because the author, Jeff Burrows, asks the following question: What is your promise to your customer?

I’ve spent a lot of time in meetings discussion mission, vision and value statements. A LOT of time. But this question cuts to the core issue of serving your customer. Make sure you know the answer, or answers if you have multiple customers.

He then asks what 1% more than that can you do that’ll ensure you stand out. It’s another great question. You don’t have to be twice as good as someone else, it’s often the one percent that makes all the difference.
