Every song posted to the site starts as a free download. As its popularity, and therefore download activity, rises, so does its fee all the way to the top price of $.98. Pretty novel. Additionally, it shares portions of revenue with folks who drive traffic to the song. In combination, those could be effective in getting “good music” heard and supported.
Which of course, is always a good thing.
